Obituary
Harriet Marie Hopp, 84, of Lincoln
passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, in HSHS St.
John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Harriet was born on January 25, 1940, in Beason. The
daughter of Harry Louis and Viola Marie (Sahs) Dahmm.
She married Daniel Hopp on July 25, 1964, in
Lincoln.
Harriet is survived by her husband; her four
children, Kevin Hopp of Lincoln, Martha (Wes) Green
of Atlanta, Ann Marie (Steve) Irwin of Beason, and
David (Lauren) Hopp of Edwardsville; her eleven
grandchildren, Adam Green, Amanda (Jason) Melton,
Ashley (Pat) Kilmartin, Austin (Kendra) Hopp, Aric
Hopp, Aron Hopp, Todd (Chelsea) Irwin, Sarah Irwin,
Dawn (Tod) Carter, Jacob Hopp and Grace Hopp; as
well as ten great-grandchildren, Lucas, Beau and
Emma Melton, Isaac and JD Green, Dawson and Autumn
Kilmartin, Logan and CeCe Irwin and Ben Hopp; and
her brother, Wallace (Wilma) Dahmm. |
Harriet was preceded in death by her
parents, and her brother, George.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on
Saturday, August 17, 2024, at New Union Cemetery in
Lincoln. Memorial donations may be made in Harriet’s
name to Shriners Children’s Hospital or Faith
Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
