[August 14, 2024]  Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was arrested Tuesday morning following a domestic altercation in Avon, Ohio.

Police told NFL.com that Hall, 21, was booked on a first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence charge.

ESPN said bond was set at $10,000, with a hearing scheduled for Sept. 10.

"We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall Jr. last night," the Browns said in a statement. "Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at the time."

According to ESPN, a woman who identified herself as Hall's fiancee and the mother of their 11-month-old child said she and Hall fought over money before the incident began.

ESPN, citing a police report, said Hall held a gun to the woman's head and threatened, "I will f---ing end it all. I don't care." He then ordered her to leave the house and pulled her on her back down the driveway, per the report.

NFL.com reported the woman declined medical treatment. Hall was not at the house by the time police arrived.

Hall, an Ohio native who played three seasons at Ohio State, was selected by the Browns in the second round (No. 54 overall) of April's draft.

In the Browns' preseason opener on Saturday, a 23-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers, Hall had one tackle on 29 defensive snaps and three special teams plays.
