On Friday, competitors for the Up
N Smoke Barbecue competition will being rolling into
Lincoln. Starting Friday morning there will be some
partial street closures as the various downtown
committees work to get everything set up for the
rest of the weekend. Starting at noon street
closures around the Logan County Courthouse square
will take effect and remain until the weekend event
wraps up late Saturday night.
At 1 p.m. on Friday, the community is invited to
attend a kick-off ribbon cutting event at the
intersection of Kickapoo and Pulaski Streets in
front of the main stage area.
It has also been announced that at least one food
vendor will be set up in time for the Friday lunch
hour.
