[August 12, 2024]

Lincoln Memorial Foundation will host an interfaith Service of Remembrance: Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Woods Café Patio on the hospital’s campus located at 200 Stahlhut Drive.

The service is for families of patients who have passed away under the care of Lincoln Memorial Hospital or Lincoln Memorial Home Hospice between July 1, 2023, and July 1, 2024. Those patient names will be read aloud, and guests will have the opportunity to write a message to their loved one and include it in the planting of a rose bush in the LMH Healing Garden, which is accessible to visitors.

The Lincoln Memorial Foundation Healing Life Society will host a short reception with refreshments immediately following the service.

“We hope this service will help people find comfort and peace in their time of healing,” said Dolan Dalpoas, president and CEO of Lincoln Memorial Hospital. “It also provides an opportunity for family and friends to reconnect with hospital and hospice care teams and to meet other families who have experienced loss.”
