- Mildred B. Cotton, 96, of Lincoln passed away on
Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt.
Pulaski.

Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln

11 a.m. Tuesday at the church

Obituary
Mildred B. Cotton, 96, of Lincoln
passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at
Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.
Mildred was born December 10, 1927, in Beason to
Carl and Mary (Cress) Fullriede. She married Donald
Cotton on December 2, 1951, in Mt. Pulaski. He
preceded her in death in 2010.
Mildred is survived by her three daughters, Kathy
(Jim) Bicknell of Atlanta, Julie (Michael)
Mittelsteadt of Lincoln, and Donise (Dave) Schrader
of Tremont, five grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald,
parents Carl and Mary and her sisters Margaret,
Dorothey, Gertrude, and Evelyn. |
Mildred was a member of Zion Lutheran
Church and the Oasis Senior Center in Lincoln.
Services for Mildred will be held at 11 a.m. on
Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church
in Lincoln. Visitation will take place one hour
prior from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. also at the church.
Burial will follow the service at Mt. Pulaski
Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Mildred’s name to Zion
Lutheran Church or School. Arrangements have been
entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln.
