[December 02, 2024]  LINCOLN -  Ruthann (Feldman) Harvey, 78, of Lincoln passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Visitation:  December 6, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home

Rosary:  4:30 p.m. prior to the visitation at the funeral home

Service:  Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church

Obituary

Ruthann (Feldman) Harvey, 78, of Lincoln passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born at St. Clara’s Hospital on November 4, 1946 to Carl and Helen (Simon) Feldman. She married Russell Harvey on January 20, 1968. They shared 56 years together and raised five children together. 

Twins Carlene (Kevin) Benson, Collene Harvey, Heather (Troy) Drake, Daniel (Debra) Harvey and Sara Harvey. She had twelve wonderful grandchildren and four great grandsons. She had many nieces and nephews.

Ruthann served her community for thirty years as the lab secretary for Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. The staff there became her lifelong friends.

 

Ruthann was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Helen, and her only sibling, her brother Robert (Bob) Feldman, as well as several cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Dondanville officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. prior to the visitation at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in rural Lincoln.

Memorials may be to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
