Obituary
Robert w. “Bob” Letterle, 68, of
Lincoln, passed away December 4, 2024 at home
surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until 1 PM Wednesday,
December 11, 2024 at Holland Bary & Bennett Funeral
Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM. Casual
dress is requested. Cremation rites will then be
accorded and burial will be at a later date.
Robert was born January 28, 1956, in Normal, IL.,
the son of Virgil J. Letterle and Venona Lorraine
(Gaston) Letterle. He married Donna Lee (Miller). He
proudly served his country in the United States
Army. Bob was a truck driver by trade, but a
musician at heart. He loved to play guitar and make
music with his friends. He loved to be out in
nature, working on the farm, hunting, and fishing.
He loved Missouri and was an avid St. Louis
Cardinals fan. Bob was a good provider and a loving
and faithful family man.

Survivors include his wife Donna Lee
Letterle, his son Virgil (Stephanie) Letterle,
daughter Macie Star Mickow, granddaughter DJ Keller,
brothers Rick (Sue) Letterle and Randy Letterle
(Valerie Miller), sister Sarah (Eli) Jett, and many
nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members
and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter
Michaella Letterle, granddaughter Aubrey Letterle,
and sister Sandy Russell.
Memorial donations may be made to the family and
will be accepted at the funeral home.
