- Donna Marie (Oglesby) Petro, 89, of Lincoln, IL,
passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by
her family.

10 - 11 a.m Friday, December 20 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader funeral home.
Service:
11 a.m. following visitation at the funeral home.

Obituary
Donna Marie (Oglesby) Petro, 89, of
Lincoln, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 15,
2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
Donna was born on May 22, 1935, in Lake Fork, IL,
the daughter of William and Aldene (Bryson) Oglesby.
She married Robert Petro on May 27, 1956, in
Morrison, IL. He preceded her in death in February
of 1980.
Donna is survived by her children, Judi Sanders,
Roberta (John) Beecraft, and Phyllis Schafer;
sister, Jane Kirby; daughter-in-law, Linda Petro; 26
grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband,
Robert; sister, Lois
Oglesby; son-in-law, Charlie Sanders; stepchildren,
Carolyn Kelly, Linda Presswood, Roger Petro, and
Sidney Petro; and great-grandson, Eddie. |
A funeral service for Donna will be
held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 20, 2024, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL.
Visitation will take place one hour prior, from
10:00 am to 11:00 am also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln, IL.
Memorials may be made in Donna’s name to the Logan
County Animal Rescue, Humane Society of Logan
County, or Alzheimer's Association.
