The ladies rebounded with a 51-24 win in the evening over Rockford
Jefferson.
Game one
Lincoln placed three players in double-figures in the opening game
but the bad news is, so did the Moline Maroons. The Maroons also
poured in 12 three-pointers as they sent Lincoln to the consolation
bracket with a 56-44 loss.
Lincoln’s trio of Mia Clark (17), Lily Holmes (14) and Makinley
Knapp (10) had over ninety percent of the scoring, leaving just
three points scored by Rebecca Burge.
The Maroons jumped out to a 14-11 advantage in the first quarter and
by halftime held a 29-22 lead.
Lincoln tried to crawl back into the game, trailing just 40-35 at
the end of the third.
Four 3s by Jaliyah Jackson in the fourth quarter shut the door on
any opportunity Lincoln had for a comeback. The 56-44 loss dropped
Lincoln’s record to 5-5 on the season.

J-Hawks.
By halftime Lincoln had increased the lead to 23-11 with Clark
adding six points and Mesa McCloud tossing in five points near the
end of the second quarter.
