Obituary
Lamar J. Starcevic, 43, of Mason City
passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024 at his
home. He was born on July 12, 1981 in Peoria to
Janice Starcevic. On September 25, 2021 in Lincoln
he married Colette Snyder, she survives.
Also surviving are his mother Janice, biological
daughter Analyn Denney, sister Lindsay Starcevic,
niece Kylie Starcevic and his puppy Ronin. He was
preceded in death by his Grandparents Joseph and
Evelyn Starcevic and fur babies: Dutchy, Daisy Mae
and Horton.
Lamar attended Lincoln High School and served in the
United States Navy serving onboard the USS Preble
for 6 years in San Diego. He enjoyed watching
movies, playing pool and doing APA League, going out
to eat and cheering on the Chicago Cubs and Chicago
Bears.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December
23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mason City Cemetery, with
Military Honors. Family requests you wear your
favorite sports team gear. Memorial contributions
may be made to: Mason County Ambulance Services.
