Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 23 points and tied a career-high
with 14 assists as the Oklahoma City Thunder came back from a
23-point second-half deficit to beat the Toronto Raptors 135-127 in
double overtime Sunday in Oklahoma City.
Josh Giddey led Oklahoma City with 24 points while Luguentz Dort and
Chet Holmgren added 22 each.
The win was the third consecutive and eighth in 10 games for the
Thunder while Toronto lost for the seventh time in eight games.
RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 23 points while Scottie Barnes,
Jakob Poeltl and Dennis Schroder added 19 each.
Suns 140, Wizards 112
Bradley Beal scored a season-high 43 points in his return to
Washington and Phoenix cruised.
Beal, who spent his first 11 seasons in Washington before an
offseason trade to Phoenix, scored 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting as
the Suns raced to a 79-58 halftime lead. He finished 16 of 21 from
the field, including 4 of 5 from 3-point range in 31 minutes. Kevin
Durant scored 18 for the Suns, who finished 4-3 on their road trip.
Deni Avdija matched a season high with 24 points for the Wizards,
who fell to 2-3 under interim coach Brian Keefe. Eugene Omoruyi had
16 points and 10 rebounds, and Daniel Gafford and Corey Kispert had
15 points each.
Celtics 131, Grizzlies 91
Jayson Tatum collected a game-high 34 points, eight rebounds and
seven assists in 31 minutes and Boston led wire to wire en route to
a victory over visiting Memphis.
Kristaps Porzingis added 26 points and eight rebounds for the
Celtics, who played without starting forward Jaylen Brown (lower
back soreness). Derrick White finished with 15 points.
Former Celtics guard Marcus Smart, who was traded to the Grizzlies
in a three-team deal that brought Porzingis to the Celtics last
June, didn't play due to a finger injury but received a standing
ovation during a video tribute.
Clippers 103, Heat 95
Kawhi Leonard scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds,
leading Los Angeles to a win over host Miami.
James Harden also had a double-double -- 21 points and a game-high
11 assists -- as the Clippers survived a poor-shooting night by
standout Paul George, who made just 3 of 13 shots, finishing with 15
points.
Miami was led by Bam Adebayo's double-double -- 14 points and a
game-high 13 rebounds. Jimmy Butler led Miami in scoring with 21
points.
Pacers 115, Hornets 99
Pascal Siakam racked up 25 points and Aaron Nesmith scored 22 as
visiting Indiana beat cold-shooting Charlotte to end a three-game
losing streak.
Hornets rookie Brandon Miller poured in a career-high 35 points, 17
coming in the third quarter. He reached 30 points for the first time
with more than nine minutes to play.
Charlotte, which lost its seventh straight game, shot 39.8 percent
from the field and went 8-for-29 from 3-point range. Siakam was
close to a triple-double with nine assists and eight rebounds.
Magic 111, Pistons 99
Franz Wagner poured in 38 points and visiting Orlando defeated
Detroit.

Wagner made 17 of 25 field goal attempts as Orlando
won its third straight. Paolo Banchero had 20 points, seven assists
and six rebounds, while Moritz Wagner and Gary Harris scored 10
points apiece.
Jaden Ivey and Cade Cunningham scored 18 points apiece for the
Pistons. Ausar Thompson had 17 points and seven rebounds, while
Jalen Duren added 15 points.
Timberwolves 111, Rockets 90
Anthony Edwards scored 22 of his game-high 32 points in the third
quarter to help Minnesota beat visiting Houston.
After missing 7 of 8 shots in the first half, Edwards caught fire in
the third period. He began his tear with a driving layup at the
10:07 mark that doubled the Timberwolves' halftime lead to 54-46 and
followed with an assortment of shots showcasing his scoring talents.
Alperen Sengun posted a double-double (15 points, 10 rebounds) for
Houston while rookie Cam Whitmore scored 14 off the bench.
Jazz 123, Bucks 108
Lauri Markkanen scored 21 points to help Utah snap a three-game skid
and overcome a 19-point deficit in a victory over Milwaukee in Salt
Lake City.
Keyonte George contributed 19 points and 10 rebounds, Collin Sexton
added 19 points and John Collins had 15 points and 10 rebounds as
seven Jazz players scored in double figures in the victory.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 33 points, dished out 13
assists and grabbed seven rebounds for the Bucks.
Nuggets 112, Trail Blazers 103
Nikola Jokic scored 29 points, Jamal Murray had 21 points and 10
assists and host Denver used a big surge in the fourth quarter to
beat Portland.
Peyton Watson, Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. scored 12 points
each for the Nuggets, who used a 25-4 run to turn a nine-point
deficit into a 100-88 advantage with 7:58 remaining in the game.
Deandre Ayton scored a season-high 27 points and grabbed nine
rebounds, Anfernee Simons had 26 points and nine assists, Scoot
Henderson finished with 14 points and Toumani Camara added 10 points
for short-handed Portland, who played without Malcolm Brogdon
(knee), Jerami Grant (back) and Shaedon Sharpe (abdominal).
