Mount Pulaski tops Springfield Lutheran on Senior Night

The Mount Pulaski Hilltoppers defeated Springfield Lutheran 58-54 on Senior Night at MPHS on Friday night.

The Crusaders led 16-15 at the end of the first quarter, with Eric Cooper tossing in 10 points for Mount Pulaski.

Mount Pulaski tied the game 25-25 at the half.

A strong third quarter allowed the Hilltoppers to go ahead 43-36.

The Hilltoppers sank 9-of-10 free throws in the fourth quarter and were able to hang on for the 58-54 win.

Eric Cooper led Mount Pulaski with 27 points.

Franklin Wade tossed in 16 points.

Mount Pulaski lost the JV game 51-25.

Aaron Kuznik led the Hilltoppers with 10 points
