Hartem Trivia Night benefits safe post prom activities

On Saturday, February 3, the Hartem High school post prom trivia night fundraiser was held at the Emden Community House. Trivia night was started approximately 10 years ago.

This year, the evening's activities included ten trivia categories with ten questions each, plus a basket raffle, silent auction, gun raffle, hog raffle and a 50/50 raffle. There were also “minute to win it” type games during breaks after every few categories.

The competition between the 14 teams was intense but friendly as people battled it out with friends and sometimes even family members for the top prize of $100. The money raised at this fun annual event will provide a safe after prom alternative for the Hartem students.
