Visitation:  9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service:  11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home

Kenneth H. “Kenney” Delaney Jr., 51, of Lincoln, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at his home.

Kenney was born October 31, 1972, in Lincoln, the son of Kenneth and Doris (Mote) Delaney Sr.

Kenney is survived by his father, Kenneth Sr.; son, Kenneth (Sabrina) Delaney III; grandson, Aven Delaney; and his siblings, Lynette Mote, Tina Riedle, and Gloria (Tom) Yearley. Additionally, Kenney is survived by his stepfamily, Willagene (Galen) Adams, Vincent Ehrich, and Nathan Ehrich.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris, and stepmother, Julia Delaney.

Kenney enjoyed fishing and camping. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Miami Dolphins fan. Kenney loved his family, especially his grandson, Aven.

Services for Kenney will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will take place two hours prior from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Zion Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Kenney’s name to his family.
