February events at the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society

[February 05, 2024]     The public is invited to attend the February events at the Logan County Genealogy & Historical Society Center,114 N Chicago Street, Lincoln.

Monday, February 12, 2024, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Please join us as we celebrate the 115th birthday of Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States.

Mr. Lincoln also christened the town of Lincoln in 1853, a town named for him before he was famous.

The Lincoln Room will be open for visitors to view Lincoln memorabilia.

Refreshments will be served.

Monday, February 19, 2024, 6:30 p.m.

A vintage quilt show will be held.

Various individuals will be displaying vintage quilts and sharing each quilt’s history.

A short business meeting will follow the quilts display.

Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
