Murphy was on fire in the first quarter,
pouring in twelve points to lead Mount Pulaski to a 19-10 lead.
The Panthers took a 29-28 lead at the half over Mount Pulaski.
The Lady Toppers were led by Addison Brown with two 3s in the
quarter. Murphy added one three-pointer.
Mount Pulaski outscored the Panthers 18-2 in the third quarter
with Murphy tossing in eight points. The Lady Toppers took a
46-31 lead over Eisenhower.
The two teams kept pace with each other in the fourth quarter
and it was the Lady Toppers coming out on top 58-43.
Kamrie Charron (11) and Addison Brown (10) also hit
double-figures for Mount Pulaski, who improved to 20-9 on the
season.
The Lady Toppers will play Heyworth tonight in their first game
of regionals at 6:00 p.m. at LeRoy High School.
