Mount Pulaski defeats Ridgeview 56-51

[February 12, 2024]    The Mount Pulaski Hilltoppers won a close game against Ridgeview on Saturday afternoon in Mount Pulaski.

The Hilltoppers led 14-13 at the end of the first quarter, but found themselves trailing 31-30 at the half.

The two teams were tied 43-43 after the third quarter.

Mount Pulaski went ahead at the free throw line in the final minutes and held on to win 56-51.

Eric Cooper led Mount Pulaski with 22 points.

Franklin Wade added 11 points for the Hilltoppers.

The Mount Pulaski JV team lost to Ridgeview 50-46.

Mount Pulaski will play at Illini Bluffs Thursday night in the last regular season game. The JV will tip-off at 6:00 p.m. The Varsity game will follow.
