Hartsburg-Emden defeats Greenview 69-48 on Senior Night
Evan Cross leads Stags with 32 points

The Hartsburg-Emden Stags defeated Greenview 69-48 on Friday night as the team celebrated Senior Night in Hartsburg.

The Stags scored early and often in the first quarter with Peyton Swinford tossing in seven points and Evan Cross scoring six points to guide the Stags to a 16-7 lead.

Cross had a huge second quarter, pouring in 12 points and both Swinford and Owen Whitted hit 3s in the quarter as the Stags stayed in front, 34-23.

Cross just dominated the third quarter with another 12 points to lead the Stags. Jace Whitted also scored seven points in the quarter and the Stags widened the gap to 53-32.

Five players scored in the fourth quarter for the Stags and the team was able to celebrate a 69-48 victory on Senior Night in front of a very large crowd.

Evan Cross led the Stags with 32 points.

Peyton Swinford (14) and Jace Whitted (11) also reached double-figures for Hartsburg-Emden.
