A strong second quarter allowed Mount Pulaski
to pull ahead 26-22. Murphy tallied nine points in the second
quarter and Kenzie Chandler added five points. Brown also
connected for another three.
Mount Pulaski sank three more 3s in the third quarter and the
lead grew to 42-29.
Murphy was not about to let the Lady Toppers lose in the fourth
quarter and she scored eight more points to lead her team to a
56-41 victory.
The super sophomore, Murphy, scored a season-high 28 points for
Mount Pulaski.
Kenzi Chandler added 15 points for the Lady Toppers.
Mount Pulaski is now 16-6 on the season.
