of Normal on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Jacqueline “Jackie” E. Shumard, 91,
of Lincoln, passed away at ARC of Normal on Tuesday,
January 9, 2024.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
No services are planned.
Jacqueline Evelyn Brown was born June 29, 1932, in
Lodge, Illinois, that daughter of Orville and Minnie
Brown. She was united in marriage to William (Bill)
Shumard. He preceded Jackie in death.
Jackie is survived by one daughter, Trudy (Francis)
Greene; grandchildren: Janelle (Tim) Powell, Jillian
Ely, Caleb Shumard, Megan Shumard, and Shane Shumard;
and great-grandchildren: Gemma, Jaqlein, Memphis,
Bellamy, and Wrigley.

She was preceded in death by three
sons: Darrel, Doug, and Kevin.
Jackie was a homemaker and very devout servant to
her faith, Jehovah’s Witness. She enjoyed crocheting
and helping her husband remodel and decorate houses.
Memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah’s Witness.
Peasley Funeral Home of Lincoln is assisting the
family with arrangements.
