West Lincoln Broadwell wins 7th Grade Logan County Tournament

[January 14, 2024]    The West Lincoln Broadwell Wolverines defeated the Chester East Lincoln Panthers 34-21 to win the 2024 7th Grade Logan County Championship on Thursday night at Roy S. Anderson Gymnasium in Lincoln.

The Panthers led the Wolverines 8-6 at the end of the first quarter.

The Wolverines took a 14-12 lead at halftime.

In the third quarter the Wolverines took over the game by outscoring the Panthers 13-2. Kruz Froebe scored seven points and Colby Bowman tossed in six points to lead the Wolverines to a 27-14 lead.

Grant Hayes and Ryder Conrady took care of the scoring in the fourth quarter for WLB and the Wolverines finished off the Panthers by a final score of 34-21.

Kruz Froebe and Colby Bowman each scored 10 points to lead the Wolverines in scoring.

Grady Rutledge led the Panthers with 10 points.
