Mount Pulaski defeats Illini Central 57-49

The Mount Pulaski Hilltoppers defeated Illini Central Tuesday night 57-49 in Mount Pulaski.

The Cougars led 15-10 at the end of the first quarter.

Illini Central still held a 30-29 advantage at the half.

Luke Martin’s six points in the third quarter led the Hilltoppers to a 46-39 lead.

Franklin Wade tossed in nine points in the fourth quarter and the Hilltoppers went on to take a 57-49 victory over Illini Central.

Wade led the Hilltoppers with 17 points.

Eric Cooper and Nolan Deibert each scored 14 points for Mount Pulaski.

Mount Pulaski won the JV game 52-29 over Illini Central.

Aaron Kuznik led Mount Pulaski with 14 points in the JV game.
