James E. Williams, 71, of Bloomington, passed away January 14, 2024 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. There will be no services at this time. Burial will be at a later date.

James was born August 5, 1952, in Springfield, IL., the son of Eddie Lee Williams and Esther Elizabeth (Morrison).

He was a jack of all trades, skilled in construction, plumbing, and electrical work. He loved to shoot pool, play darts, camp, and race. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

 

Survivors include his children: Christina (Joseph) Walker, Jaime Williams, and James E. Williams Jr. (Anna); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings: Brenda Skelton and Laura Bottoms.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Larry Williams and Cindy Whited.
