The Minnesota Wild scored five power-play goals while
defeating the Florida Panthers 6-4 on Friday night in Sunrise, Fla.
Minnesota got two power-play goals from Kirill Kaprizov and one each
from Ryan Hartman, Brock Faber and Mats Zuccarello. Three of those

Hartman also had a game-clinching empty-netter.
The Panthers, who have lost four straight after a nine-game winning
streak, got goals from Aaron Ekblad, Eetu Luostarinen, Anton Lundell
and Gustav Forsling. However, Sam Reinhart had his franchise-record,
eight-game goal streak end.
Both starting goalies left the game at the same time early in the
second period, Florida's Sergei Bobrovsky because of ineffective
play, Minnesota's Marc-Andre Fleury due to an apparent injury. Filip
Gustavsson (21 saves) wound up beating Anthony Stolarz (nine saves).
Blackhawks 4, Islanders 3 (OT)
Seth Jones scored the game-winner 22 seconds into overtime and Jason
Dickinson had a goal and two assists to lift host Chicago to a
victory against New York.
Joey Anderson and Boris Katchouk each contributed a goal and assist
for Chicago, which won for the second time in three games while
sending the Islanders to their fourth straight defeat and sixth loss
in seven games.
Jones' first goal of the season beat Islanders goaltender Ilya
Sorokin (20 saves) with a wrist shot from just inside the blue line
to win it. Blackhawks goalie Petr Mrazek made 26 saves.
Hurricanes 4, Red Wings 2
Martin Necas, back from a two-week injury absence, had a goal and an
assist as Carolina defeated Detroit in Raleigh, N.C.
Andrei Svechnikov and Sebastian Aho also logged a goal and an assist
apiece for the Hurricanes. Jordan Martinook added a goal, Michael
Bunting had two assists. Antti Raanta needed to make just 10 saves

Wings, who were 6-0-1 in their previous seven games. Alex Lyon
stopped 26 shots.
Devils 4, Blue Jackets 1
John Marino's goal in the opening minute of the second period
sparked a four-goal frame by visiting New Jersey, which beat
Columbus.
Alexander Holtz scored the game-winner and Nico Hischier and Nathan
Bastian added goals later in the second for the Devils, who snapped
a two-game losing streak and won for just the second time in the
past six games (2-3-1).
Cole Sillinger scored on the first shot of the game for the Blue
Jackets, who failed in a bid to win consecutive games for the first
time since Nov. 22-24. Elvis Merzlikins recorded 28 saves while
making his second straight start after a six-game benching that
resulted in Merzlikins asking for a trade.
