passed away at 11:18 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at St. John’s
Hospital in Springfield.

Obituary
Edwin Robert “Ed” Schneider, 59, of
Hamilton, passed away at 11:18 p.m. Friday, January
19, 2024, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Ed was born April 27, 1964, in Wichita Falls, TX,
the son of Robert and Irene (Goudy) Schneider.
He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1983.
Ed was an avid reader and movie goer. He enjoyed
spending time with his family and especially
holidays with his nephews.
Ed is survived by two brothers, William Schneider of
Mt. Pulaski, and David (Mark Bray) Schneider of
Normandy Park, WA.and three nephews, Ian (Ashley)
Schneider, Aidan Schneider and Charles Polk.

He was preceded in death by his
parents and grandparents.
Donations may be made to the Mental
Health Centers of Western Illinois (MHCWI) and the
Hamilton Public Library.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski.
