After several days of sub-zero wind chills, last Thursday the temperatures soared to the high thirty’s, and it was warm enough that the Blue Dog Mascot was out barking for business near the popular Blue Dog Steakery on Sangamon Street in Lincoln.

The “balmy” weather was short lived though as within 24 hours we were back in the deep freeze and on Monday awoke to freezing rain and ice on the roadways.

But, it is going to warm up for the next few days, then who knows what will happen after that?

As the old saying goes, “if you don’t like the Illinois weather, just give it a minute….it’ll change!”
