Lincoln Youth Wrestling Competed in Rochester’s
Meet in the Middle Kids Open Wrestling Tournament Sunday January
21st, 2024, the result was as follows.
Tot Division (6 & Under)
Champion: Jaxon Byrd & Malachi Constant
3nd Place: Teagynn Adye
4th Place: Oliver McCray & Eva Welch
Bantam Division (Ages 7 & 8)
Champion: Cooper Johnson, Abel Whitted, Latrelle Watkins &
Lennon Janssen
2nd Place: Dax Maestas, Braxton Brickey
3rd Place: Houston Manus
Intermediate Division (Ages 9 & 10)
2nd Place: Carter Johnson, Keaton Parrish
3rd Place: Greyson Fisher
4th Place: Liam Helton
Novice Division (Ages 11 & 12)
3rd Place: Preston Maestas
LYW placed 8th in the team standings out of 31 Teams with 212
points. The host RWC won the tournament with 268 points,
Monticello Youth Wrestling Club finished second with 243 points,
and Clinton Wrestling Club was third with 237 points.
Lincoln Youth Wrestling will be traveling to El Paso IL to
compete in the Titan Rumble next Sunday, January 28th, 2024!
