Logan County Coroner report on fatal accident Monday, January 22nd

The Logan County Coroner, Donald P. Peasley, has announced that a fatal car accident occurred at the Edward Madigan State Park on January 22, 2024 at 12:31 p.m.

This death is being investigated by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources , Illinois State Police and the Logan County Coroner’s Office.

Name is pending notification of family.

Autopsy scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the McLean County Morgue.
