The Wolverines jumped out to a 7-0 lead to
start the game. WLB led 13-8 after the first quarter and would
never trail in the game. Kruz Froebe led the Wolverines with
eight points in the opening quarter, which included two 3s.
Grady Rutledge led the Panthers with six points.
The Wolverines were up 27-18 at the half with Froebe continuing
to shoot well in the second quarter. The sixth grader had eight
points here, including two more 3s.
The Wolverines increased the lead in the third quarter, 36-24
the score, over their cross town rivals.
With Kruz Froebe leading the way with 18 points, the Wolverines
won the regional crown over the Panthers by a final score of
45-33.
Colby Bowman tossed in 11 points for the Wolverines.
Cruze Komnick led the Panthers with 15 points, including three
3s of his own.
