Film Festival Seeking Entries
Arlee Theater in Mason City to host short film festival

Guests of all ages are invited to enjoy a short film festival at the Arlee Theater on Friday, February 23 at 7 PM sharp. Entry is by donation, and funds from the event will be donated to the Arlee Volunteer Scholarship Fund. Entries are due by February 10, and must be 15 minutes in length or shorter. All mediums are welcome, as well as work from all ages, so long as it's family-friendly. Files must be in .mp4 or JPEG2000 format. The main goal of this annual event is to showcase what people, especially those living in Central Illinois, are creating often independently.

In previous years, this annual event has been surprised by a tidal wave of international entries, with pieces coming from nearly a dozen different countries around the globe, as well as some charming local pieces by a wide age range of incredibly talented filmmakers.

Details: The festival will be presented Friday, February 23 at 7 PM sharp at the Arlee Theater. Admission to the festival will be by donation. The Arlee is located in Mason City. www.arleetheater.com
