[June 26, 2024]  OHIO IL — Timothy Ray Rademaker, 74, of Ohio, Illinois passed away at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his home.

Service: Celebration of Life from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Bache Memorial Chapel, 25478 Highway 92, Van Orin, Illinois.

Obituary

Timothy Ray Rademaker, 74, of Ohio, Illinois passed away at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his home.

He was born on August 30, 1949, in Lincoln to Lawrence and Marion Jensen Rademaker. He married Katherine Asher, his wife of 54 years on March 22, 1970, in Emden, Illinois. She survives.

Also surviving by three daughters, Amy (Eric) Miller of Chesapeake, Virginia, Sara (Tim) Nelson of Colchester, Illinois and Julie (Chris) Cochran of Danville, Georgia and four grandchildren, Adam Miller, Natalie Miller, Christian (Brianna) Cochran and Evelyn Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Marion Rademaker; one brother, Steve Rademaker, and one sister, Jill Bruns.

Tim was a graduate of Hartem High School. He earned an Associate of Science degree at Spoon River College. He served in the US Navy from 1969 to 1973. He was a member of the Emden American Legion Post #506. He worked for Pioneer Hybrid for 41 years. He enjoyed bird watching, taking drives to look at corn, spending time with his family, and was a master at furniture making.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Bache Memorial Chapel, 25478 Highway 92, Van Orin, Illinois.

Memorials may be made to American Legion post #506.
