FALLS CITY, OR — Dennis Lee Ford of Falls City,
Oregon, formally from Atlanta, Illinois, passed away on June 22,
2024 at the age of 73.

Dennis Lee Ford of Falls City,
Oregon, formally from Atlanta, Illinois, passed away
on June 22, 2024 at the age of 73.
Dennis was born on September 17, 1950 , in Lincoln,
IL to Joel and Virginia Ford. He was a graduate of
Atlanta High School.
Following graduation he enlisted in the United
States Navy. He served as a Petty Officer First
Class on a destroyer during the Vietnam war. During
his tours in the Navy, he was able to travel to
Japan and China. He was also stationed in Hawaii for
a time.
Dennis will be missed by all of his nieces and
nephews from Illinois, and his cousins, Frances Ford
Tipton of MI, Clifford Ford of MI, Clinton Myers of
CA, Gary Jones of TX, and Terry Jones of MO.
He will also be missed by many dear friends,
including Chuck and Pam Bessler of Oregon.
A private graveside celebration of life was held at
Atlanta Cemetery.
