Obituary
Marvin Duane Graber Sr., 74, of
Atlanta passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, at his
home.
Marvin was born on September 24, 1949, in Emden, the
son of Emanuel and Nellie (Piper) Graber. He married
Mary Sue Harris on December 15, 1973, in Atlanta.
She preceded him in death in 2018.
Marvin is survived by his children, Duane (Luane)
Graber, Adam Graber, and Mary Graber; five
grandchildren, Brittany, Tabitha, Austin, Brielle,
and Gage; 8 great-grandchildren; and his siblings,
Wayne Graber, Donald (Melinda) Graber, and Vicki
Koller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue;
daughter, Stacy Graber; brothers, Emanuel Glenn,
Ronald, Kenneth, and Lester Graber; and his sister,
Karen Maaks.

Marvin worked at the Bottle Factory
for nearly forty years as a forklift operator. Post
retirement, he served on the Eminence County Road
Commission. Marvin enjoyed farming, fishing,
hunting, and gardening. He loved his family as much
as life itself. His grandchildren and
great-grandchildren meant the world to him. Marvin
will be remembered by all for his friendly and
outgoing personality. He never met a stranger and
will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved
him.
Services for Marvin will be held at 4 p.m. on
Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will take place
prior to the service from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. also at
the funeral home. A graveside service will be held
at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Atlanta
Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Marvin’s name to the
Olympia High School FFA.
