Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Announces Awards

[May 31, 2024]    The Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is pleased to announce the outstanding seniors in Logan and Mason Counties for the DAR Good Citizen Award.

Each high school selected a senior based on the following criteria: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.

A certificate and pin were presented to each outstanding senior.

The 2024 winners are the following:

  • Kamber Arthalony, Illini Central High School

  • Alec Martin, Mt. Pulaski High School

  • Alison Kay Turner, Lincoln Community High School

The Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution has announced the outstanding eighth graders in Logan and Mason Counties for the Excellence in American History Award. Each middle/junior high school selected an outstanding eighth grade student for outstanding work in American History. A certificate and medal were presented to each outstanding eighth grader.

  • Brycen Falcon, Chester East-Lincoln School

  • Cami Killion, Mt. Pulaski Grade School

  • Annily Eimer, West-Lincoln Broadwell School

  • Ellie Wrage, Zion Lutheran School, Lincoln

  • Noah Parpart, Zion Lutheran School, Mt. Pulaski

The 2024 DAR awards were complied by Gail Apel-Sasse. The Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the DAR is pleased to present these awards to outstanding students for DAR Good Citizenship and American History.
