CoGFA Public Hearing on Logan
Correctional Center in Lincoln June 13th

There will be two meetings of the Illinois Commission
on Government Forecasting and Accountability related to state
facility closures.
The purpose of the hearings will be to further discuss the proposed
facility closures of the Stateville Correctional Center and Egan
Correctional Center .
The Illinois Department of Corrections will be on
hand to provide information to the Commission and an opportunity
will be given for local stakeholders to offer testimony.
The first meeting, related to the closure of the Stateville
Correctional Center, will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 5
p.m. at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center at 411 S. Larkin
Ave., Joliet.

The second meeting, related to
the closure of the Logan Correctional Center, will be held on
Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 5 p.m. at Lincoln Junior High School
at 208 Broadway St. , Lincoln.

testimony, please contact the
