Obituary
Brandi Elizabeth "Bee" Dodson, 34,
of Lincoln, passed away peacefully with her family
on June 1, 2024, in Panama City Beach, FL. while on
a beach vacation.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln. A memorial
gathering will be held from 11 AM until 2 PM on
Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the funeral home.
Brandi was born April 24, 1990, in Urbana, IL., the
daughter of Chris Eaton and Carolyn (Meadows) Eaton.
She married Travis Dodson on February 19, 2021.
Brandi graduated from TCHS (Tuscola Community High
School) in 2008 and from Lincoln Christian
University in 2012. She was passionate about working
with special needs children. She was an avid CUBS
fan, enjoyed playing softball, loved the water,
especially the beach, collected cups (Stanley,
Starbucks, Yeti,etc....), loved to shop, was an avid
cross fitter, and loved her family. She enjoyed
spending time with her bonus daughter, Lilli. Brandi
had a heart of gold, her big brown eyes and
beautiful smile lit up every room she was in. Her
laugh was infectious, and she made everyone feel
like they were the most special person around. She
will be missed and lovingly remembered by all who
knew her. |
Survivors include her husband Travis Dodson, her bonus daughter
Lilli "Bug" Dodson, parents Chris and Carolyn Eaton, father and mother in law
Jim and Jan Dodson; canine companions Remus John, Tonks, and Luna; brother
Douglas Keith (Melissa) Eaton, sister in law Aubrey (Julia) Dodson; Nana Meg
Dodson; Aunt Leta (Gregory) Peterson, Uncle Gregory (Melinda) Eaton, Uncle Randy
(Deborah) Eaton, and Uncle Kenneth Meadows; nieces and nephews Brianna Wait,
Douglas Keith Eaton II "Junior", and Jeremiah Larson; several cousins also
survive.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Keith and Eva Meadows and Irvin
and Janet Eaton, and Cousin USMC Jordan Emrick who was killed in action.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local no kill animal
shelter and will be accepted at the funeral home.
