Obituary
Debra L. Jones, 71, of Lincoln,
passed away June 2, 2024 at St. John's Hospital,
Springfield.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.
with Ryan Edgecombe officiating. Burial will follow
in New Union Cemetery.
Debra was born December 21, 1952, in Lincoln, IL.,
the daughter of George and Betty (Deuterman)
Downing. She retired from the Illinois Board of
Education. Debra enjoyed bingo, and loved the
television show Mike and Molly.
Survivors include her siblings: Donna Logan, Kevin
Downing, and Susan (George) Baker and nieces Lily
Logan and Scarlet Logan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her
grandparents.
