Rick worked as an electrical engineer
at Pittsburgh Plate Glass (PPG) for thirty-nine
years. He was a member of Lincoln Christian Church
as well as the Miata Car Club. Rick was a quiet man
unless he was talking about history, especially the
Civil War and World War II. He was delighted by
bluegrass music. As the love of each other’s lives,
Rick and Judy enjoyed their time together. His kind
personality will be missed by all.
Services for Rick will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday,
June 17, 2024, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home in Lincoln. Visitation will take place two
hours prior from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. also at the
funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Zion
Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made in Rick’s name
to Logan County Animal Rescue or St Jude Children’s
Research Hospital.
