CGFA hearing on Logan Correctional

The Commission on Government Forecasting and
Accountability (CGFA) will be holding a public hearing related to
the proposed closure of Logan Correctional Center in Lincoln. A
hearing on the closure of the correctional center will be held on
Thursday June 13, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The hearing will take place at
Lincoln Junior High School in Lincoln. The public is invited to
attend the hearing.
The hearing will consist of testimony before the Commission on the
closure from the Illinois Department of Corrections, local
stakeholders, and concerned citizens. The Commission is mandated to
give an advisory opinion within 50 days of receiving a
recommendation for closure.
