Letters to the Editor

Lincoln Daily News welcomes letters of appreciation, information and opinion on matters pertaining to the community.

Controversial issues:
As a community we need to be able to talk openly about matters that affect the quality of our lives. The most effective and least offensive manner to get your point across is to stick to the issue and refrain from commenting on another person's opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

Celebrating National Hospital Week

To the editor:

For decades, the first full week in May has been celebrated as National Hospital Week. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Regardless of whether they care directly for patients or work in a support area, everyone at LMH has a role to play in fulfilling our mission.

Our colleagues at LMH have made a commitment to serve our community, ensuring high-quality care is available when our neighbors need it most. The kind words and support we receive from our patients and the community help encourage and sustain us. They’re a reminder that the work we do is both important and appreciated.

I am proud to work alongside so many dedicated colleagues at LMH. Please join me in thanking them for everything they do – not only this week, but all year long.

Sincerely,
Dolan C. Dalpoas
President and CEO
Lincoln Memorial Hospital
