Obituary
Jeffrey Earl Litterly 08/14/1960 –
06/05/2024
On the afternoon of June 5, 2024, surrounded by his
loving family, Jeffrey Earl Litterly left this earth
for his heavenly home.
Jeffrey “Jeff” Earl Litterly was born August 14,
1960, to Gerald F. and Barbara C. (Cyrulik) Litterly.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Susan
Kay (Tetley) Litterly, his sons Jesse Mitchell and
Tyler Daniel Litterly, brothers Steven Litterly,
James (Jan) Litterly, Sister-in-Law Sally (John)
Turner, Brother In-Law Andrew (Julee) Tetley, Mother
In-Law Patsy Tetley, and many beloved nieces and
nephews.
No matter what his title: Son, Husband, Father,
Brother, Uncle, Cousin or Friend, Jeff was a caring,
loving, loyal man of his word. He enjoyed the
outdoor activities of hunting and fishing and was an
excellent cook and grill master. He truly enjoyed
cooking for his family and fellowship on the deck or
in the shed. He took pride in helping his boys farm
on their generational family farm.
He was a father figure to many and loved by all who
knew him.

As a baptized believer in Christ,
Jeff was a faithful member of the First Christian
Church of Mt. Pulaski and served passionately in the
senior ministry with his wife Susan and friends.
Jeff retired in 2023 from Pat Lee Trucking where he
worked for 30 years.
Throughout the years, Jeff grew in
his faith and his hope was that all he knew would
experience the love of Jesus in their lives too.
A Funeral Church Service will be conducted at First
Christian Church in Mt. Pulaski at 11:00 am on
Saturday, June 15, 2024, with Casey McCormick
officiating. A family graveside burial will be at a
later date.
Services have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.
Memorial donations may be made in Jeff’s name to MTM
(Mikah Thomas Martin) Wellness, LLC (Cancer
Prevention Program) or First Christian Church in Mt.
