							Sandra J. “Sandy” Morgan, 80, of 
							Lincoln, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 
							Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
 Sandy was born February 19, 1944, in Lincoln, the 
							daughter of Owen Calvin “Cal” and Edith (Miller) 
							Beaver. She married Richard T. Morgan on July 4, 
							1963, in Girard. He preceded her in death in 2017.
 
 Sandy is survived by her children, Rodney Morgan, 
							Rhonda (Don) Howard, Rochelle (Richard) Joseph, and 
							Randy (Laura) Morgan; stepchildren, Kathy (Al) 
							Anderson and Greg (Jolene) Morgan; eight 
							grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and her 
							loving yorkie, “Punkin”.
 
 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, 
							Richard; sister, Bonnie Hoy; and son-in-law, J.D. 
							Kincheloe. Sandy was the last of her immediate 
							family.

							Sandy grew up on a farm helping her 
							dad with all the chores. She loved her horse “Dusty” 
							and would ride him to the one room schoolhouse in 
							her youth. Sandy worked as a beautician for many 
							years, then as a CNA, and later as a secretary of 
							Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital until retirement. 
							She was a member of St. John United Church of 
							Christ. Sandy loved her backyard and standing 
							amongst her trees. She enjoyed attending steam 
							engine shows. Sandy always raised big gardens and 
							canned food for her family. She was a great cook! 
							Sandy loved all nature and animals but loved being 
							with her family the most.
 A memorial service for Sandy will be held at 11 a.m. 
							am on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. 
							Visitation will take place two hours prior to the 
							service at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
							Burial will follow the memorial service at Lucas 
							Chapel Cemetery in Lincoln.
 
 Memorials may be made in Sandy’s name to the Humane 
							Society of Logan County or the Arbor Day Foundation.
