Obituary
Karen A. Hoffert, 71, of Springfield
formerly of Lincoln passed away on Friday, June 14,
2024 at her home.
No Services are scheduled.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Karen Anne Lawrence was born on August 3, 1952 in
Lincoln the daughter of Ralph and Eugenia Kramer
Lawrence. She was united in marriage to Donald L
Hoffert on November 13, 1971. He preceded her in
death on June 9, 2019.
She is survived by her daughter: Angy (Brian)
Pruett, one son: Anthony Hoffert. Three
grandchildren: Lexi Mool, Alisha (Nick) Walden and
Dalton Pruett. Two great grandchildren: Mariah and
Julien.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents
and two brothers: Kevin and Buddy. |
Karen graduated from the Lincoln
Community High School in 1970. She was then employed
by the State of Illinois with the Department of
Insurance.
Her hobbies were babysitting her granddaughter and
going to the casino.
Memorials may be made for the Lexi Mool Education
Fund.
