Obituary
Brenda Kay (Sharp) Wickline, 74,
of Lincoln, passed away June 9, 2024 at Memorial
Medical Center, Springfield.
Brenda was born August 24, 1949, in Mattoon, IL.,
the daughter of Loren Curtis and Jane (Buckalew)
Sharp. She married Galen E. Wickline on June 12,
1999. She worked for more than 40 years as an
insurance producer, retiring from Moriearty
Insurance Services. Brenda was a 1967 graduate of
Lincoln Community High School. She enjoyed shoes and
shopping. Her family was her greatest treasure in
life. She adored her children, grandchildren, and
great grandchildren and was a loving and devoted
wife.
Survivors include her husband Galen Wickline,
daughter Lori Kay (Gannon) Crosier (Shawn Payne),
son James T.E. (Stephanie) Wickline, granddaughter
Katie Elizabeth (Crosier) Binkley (Justin),
grandsons Keegan Wickline and Xander Guy, great
grandsons Case Lee Maurice Stanley and Bennett
Eugene Binkley, great granddaughters Kimber
Elizabeth Crosier and Lailah Roxann Binkley,
brothers Curtis D. Sharp and Dennis L. (Suzan)
Sharp, sister-in-law Karen Sharp, and three nieces,
three nephews, and one great niece. |
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larren L.
Sharp, and sister-in-law Linda Sharp.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Holland Barry &
Bennett Funeral Home with funeral services following at 7 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's or to Memorial Medical Center
Regional Cancer Center Infusion Lab and will be accepted at the funeral home.
