Zheng of China and Czech Katerina Siniakova was interrupted by
rain with Siniakova leading 5-3.

No. 6 seed Leylah Fernandez of Canada rallied for a 4-6, 7-5,
6-3 defeat of Switzerland's Viktorija Golubic to reach the
quarterfinals in Birmingham, England.
Fernandez will next face Australia's Ajla Tomljanovic, who also
came from behind for a 6-7 (6), 6-1, 6-4 win against Zhu Lin of
China.
No. 7 seed Anastasia Potapova of Russia eliminated Italy's Lucia
Bronzetti 6-3, 7-5, while Italy's Elisabetta Cocciaretto took
down Sloane Stephens 6-4, 6-2.
