Obituary
Robert “Duane” Vincent, 74, of
Edinburg, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at
his home.
Duane was born June 16, 1950, in Springfield, the
son of Charles and Rose Mary (Baughman) Vincent. He
married Joannie Thornton on May 26, 2001, in
Springfield. She preceded him in death in November
of 2023.
Duane is survived by his son, Eric Vincent;
stepchildren, Tenika Hervey and Michael (Sandra)
March; grandchildren, Cuyler Hadden, Isabel Vincent,
Chase March, Chloe Vincent, and Mason Vincent; a
brother, Richard Vincent; sister, Deidra (Charles)
Gribbins; and his brother-in-law, Donald (Jill)
Thornton Jr. |
He was preceded in death by his
parents; his wife, Joannie; a sister, Denise
Vincent; and a granddaughter, Makhiya Thomas.
Duane enjoyed fishing and hanging out
with his grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
