The committee provided a good time for the community
to come together with activities, various food choices, and music
choices for all ages. However, the most impressive is the focus that
brings the community's children together in a fun and exciting
fashion.
This month's focus was a rodeo-themed event for boys and girls ages
nine and under by “Lil-O-Rodeo.”
The event included a Cutest Lil Cowgirl and Cowboy,
barrel racing, pole bending, flag, and boot race, and a Buckin’
Bouncy Bull contest.

Rodeo Randy played music throughout the evening on Jefferson Street
while kids utilized the petting zoo of goats, a cow, a small pony a
couple of pigs, bunnies, a variety of poultry breeds, and giant yard
games for the whole family to partake in.
For the fun-loving adults that just wanted to sit
back and relax, there was a raffle to win a Father’s Day Grilling
Meat Basket, a fundraiser for a special event at Mt. Pulaski’s Fall
Festival in September, and music from Jason Bassett playing on the
main stage, sponsored by the Mt. Pulaski Economic Development
Planning Board.
A special thanks to this month's sponsors, Logan County Tourism
Bureau, and Rise Broadband.
