Thomas Robert “Tom” Aue of Tampa, FL, formerly of Lincoln, passed away on June 22, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa, FL.

Tom was born on November 29, 1951, in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Robert and Mary Ann (Holmes) Aue.

Tom is survived by his brothers, Tim Aue and Steve “Hacker” (Elaine) Aue; nephews, Ryan (Charissa), Justin and Nathan Aue; nieces, Amy (Troy) Brown and Kristan (John) Pridemore; and his great nieces and nephews, Brayton and Braylee Brown, Piper and Mia Pridemore, and Tate Aue.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and niece, Robyn Aue.

Tom graduated from Lincoln Community High School and then attended Western Illinois University. He worked at GTE in Bloomington, IN, and then moved to Tampa after retiring. Tom worked as a concierge at Tampa Museum of Art.

The family wishes to give special thanks to all of Tom’s Tampa friends; in particular, Richard Mackey, whose friendship was unwavering.

Per Tom’s request, a Sunday brunch in Tampa for family and friends will be held at a later date.
