On Saturday evening,
the Lady Railers were on the cusp of making history
for Lincoln Community High School. They had been
there before and had left disappointed. This
year they lived their motto, #ONEGOAL, from beginning
to end. The perfect season with 38 wins and
ZERO losses came to an end with the ultimate victory
– the IHSA Class 3A Girls Basketball State
Championship.
Congratulations Ladies! You make us proud!

So confident was he
that the Lady Railers would be the 2024 IHSA Class
3A State Champions, LCHS Superintendent Dwight
Stricklin with help from Athletic Director Neil
Alexander, back in January ordered the championship
banner. Coach Alexander kept it hidden in his garage
at home until Saturday night, when much to the
surprise of the Lady Railers and Railer Nation, the
banner was presented for all to see.
