The deal is pending a physical and will become
official when the new league year begins March 13, the Bills
announced Monday.
Bates, 27, played the first five seasons of his NFL career with
Buffalo. He has seen action in 73 regular-season games, starting
19, along with nine playoff games (four starts).
Bates was the Bills' starting right guard for 15 games in 2022
before restructuring his contract and moving to a reserve role
last year. His contract lasts through 2025.
